The Clarison Group appoints Aidan Williamson as CEO
The Clarison Group, the market leading UK and Irish building envelope and architectural glazing solutions provider, is delighted to announce the appointment of Aidan Williamson as its new CEO from 1 December 2022. Aidan is currently the Group CFO, and he succeeds Mark Oliver who is stepping down after two years in the role.
Aidan joined Group business Alucraft in 2017 as CFO becoming Group CFO in February 2021. The Clarison Group consists of the Alucraft, Alucraft Systems, EAG, MultiFab and Williaam Cox brands in the UK & Ireland. Owned by Private Equity Fund, Elaghmore, the Group was launched in February 2021 as a domestic alternative to continental specialists to offer low risk, high quality and sustainable building envelope solutions and architectural glazing. Prior to joining Alucraft, Aidan worked in senior leadership roles at Paddy Power Betfair, Digicel and UDG Healthcare plc.
Aidan replaces Mark Oliver who helped guide the Group through the pandemic and its aftermath. Since Mark joined in January 2021, the Group has grown its revenue, and won numerous industry awards in the UK and Ireland. The Group became a Construction Leadership Council CO2nstructZero Carbon Business Champion and debuted in the UK Top Ten Envelope Contractors list in sixth place.
The combined group now has over 400 employees and operates from six locations throughout the UK and Ireland, including Dublin, Tamworth, Cannock, Rotherham,Mildenhall and Attleborough. Additional employed design teams are based in Spain, Poland, and the Philippines.
Aidan will lead an experienced senior management team, including a recently strengthened UK team, as the Group looks to grow and deliver its strong pipeline of future contracted work. Upcoming projects include providing the façade package on the new Everton Stadium and delivering the façade on the Net Zero Carbon Aldgate Place Phase 2 development. Earlier this year, the Group appointed Joao Simoes as UK Chief Operating Officer from Linder Prater, and Simon Carr as UK Technical Director, who joined from Glasshus. From 1 February 2023, Joao Simoes will become Managing Director for the UK business.
